The Palletways Group, Europe’s largest and fastest growing express palletised freight network, has expanded its delivery services into three Nordic countries.
The new operating area, covering Sweden, Finland and Norway, is offered in partnership with PostNord, the leading logistics supplier within the Nordic region and provides full service coverage, ensuring consistency and stability. PostNord has been using Palletways’ delivery services across 20 European countries since 2011. The Nordic region, including Denmark which is already served by Palletways, has full transparency with track and trace, and market-leading transit times at competitive rates.
Luis Zubialde, Chief Operating Officer of Palletways Group said: “We are continuously looking for opportunities to expand and enhance our offer to our members and customers and this new coverage presents a very exciting moment for the business. The service is fully integrated with the existing network, meaning customers and members have a seamless connection to any point in the Nordics. There is a clear opportunity to support companies from across Europe moving pallets to their customers in the Nordic territories – for example the UK exports some £25 billion of goods to the Nordics annually.”
Tim Jørnsen, Head of eCommerce and Logistics at PostNord said: “Through Palletways, our customers now have access to one of Europe’s most established and competent pallet delivery networks. With the new agreement, we are able to prove that our network is the best choice for Palletways’ European customers in terms of deliveries to the Nordic region”.
